My approach to Technical Product Management and UX Leadership is rooted in Design Operations (DesOps) building the systems, remote teams, and cross-functional workflows that turn complex data into intuitive, high-impact digital solutions. I thrive on the challenge of building products that not only meet but exceed user expectations.
From Software Engineering to Executive Leadership
With a background in software development and a love for the web, I am constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to create impactful digital solutions that solve real-world problems. Over the past 13 years, I have served as the Director of UX Design & Development and Founder of Haketi. In this role, I plan and oversee user research including usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and JAD sessions. I oversee and manage a remote team of developers and designers. Acting as a Product Owner, I guide the development of the applications/websites, testing and communicating with users to design interfaces that solve their problems. My foundation in technical governance comes from years spent working as a Software & Data Engineer, where I managed critical tools responsible for millions of records.
Global Reach & Communication
I am native or bilingual in both Spanish and English. This allows me to seamlessly manage cross-cultural remote teams and consult for international stakeholders across the U.S. and Latin America. Whether it’s building a new web application or analyzing data to drive business decisions, I am passionate about the intersection of technology, design, and business.
Academic Leadership & Mentorship
My practice is deeply informed by my commitment to education and talent development. As Adjunct Faculty at institutions like the Academy of Art University and the University of Denver, I have taught over 1k students. I specialize in teaching everything from early design concepts to the deployment of applications. Notably, I designed and developed the graduate-level course “Usability Design for Websites”. Having participated in more than sixty Midpoint and Final committees to review students’ projects, I am an expert at providing actionable feedback and guiding complex technical implementations.
